Kris McPeek and her family are cultivating lavender in Sand Point, Idaho.  They have a variety of lavender products they create from the lavender they grow and you can purchase directly from them via their website:  SandPointLavender

The lavender here on the northern half of Earth is just beginning to wake up from the winter.  Although there are many varieties of lavenders which will bloom practically year round, only certain varieties can be used for the production of lavender items.  Other lavenders do not possess the same scent or properties as those derived from the species Lavendula augustifolia.

And if you love lavender, you know it is all about the scent and the wonderful properties of lavender oil!
